De’an of the family Matuka
I began my training in the arts of healing and transformation at 17 with a book “The power of your subconscious mind” my mum gave my. This practise led me to learn about changing deep mind patterns and the importance of regular practise in my life.
My early twenties were taken by exploration of ritualistic magic and various meditation techniques.
In my mid twenties I qualified in Reflexology and a bit later I qualified as a teacher of Reiki.
Thru my early thirties I practised Ashtanga Yoga, and I began my training with “Landmark Education”. I spent two and a half years there, learning about communication, integrity and life coaching skills.
My mid thirties lead me to Tantra and a practise of using sacred fire to restore the balance in my life.
I studied with the “Man Kind Project”, where we worked with men and men’s issues.
Simultaneously I worked intensely with Ayahuasca (sacred medicine), and equally intensely with Vipassana meditation.

In my late thirties I began my 3 year training with Biodanza in the “First school of Biodanza in UK” with Patricia Martello, which led to my qualification as a teacher in Sep 2008.
My whole life is dedicated to deepening my understanding of Human condition and working with people on harmonisation and balancing of our lives.
I run Biodanza Heart in Motion workshops in UK, Norway and Holland.

Thank you De’an for the beautiful biodanza workshop you facilitated at the wildheart festival this bank holiday. It was a truly magical experience for me. I only wish I lived closer to your base in Brighton!
